Yamaha APX-10N

This is an electric classical guitar. The small body is solid rosewood and spruce with an ebony fingerboard. Yamaha stopped making this model (it was too expensive for what it is), and now produce less expensive models that are similar.

The electronics work pretty well. There is a piezo pickup under the bridge and some other pickup inside the body. The acoustic sound is too soft for performance, so it's really intended to be amplified. The preamp is nicely integrated into the body of the guitar (only the knobs stick through).

I recently sold this guitar (through ebay), and I sort of miss it. Since I'll never be able to afford a Buscarino Cabaret, it will be a while before I replace it with anything nearly as nice.
